I'm really an adult?

Well, it's fully 2010, and I'm just now getting around to writing something about the New Year.
I can't help but think back on the decade and marvel at everything that has happened in 10 short years.
I rang in 2000 at Marina's house as an 18-year-old — still in high school, just months away from graduating, with no clue where life would lead.
Now, I'm a wife and a mother, I have a real job, I have a dog and cat, and I have a car payment.
Here's a quick run down of the highlights of my life, year by year:
2000 — graduated high school, went to Frank Phillips College in Borger to play volleyball
2001 — made it through my first year of college without any huge mishaps, although I did gain 15 pounds in the final two months of the spring semester; watched the World Trade Center towers fall on TV; started dating Daniel
2002 — began my first semester at Texas A&M in January without Daniel; Daniel joined me in the summer
2003 — Heath joined us at College Station for some fun times
2004 — got my Aggie Ring April 22, got my engagement ring April 24; graduated May 15; moved to Waxahachie in October to start my first real job
2005 — Married Daniel Aug. 6; moved to Lancaster in November
2006 — Heath graduated from Air Force basic training in July
2007 — Moved to Rhome, Daniel starts a new career and I start a new job
2008 — Found out I was pregnant in July
2009 — Caleb was born March 17; moved to Boyd in November
2010 — I made my first sopapilla cheesecake (it's early - I'm sure something bigger will come along)

It's insane how quickly time flies and things change.
